01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02We Do The Dismantling

Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.

03No Testing, Ever

You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.

What we look for in fusible bus plugs

Fusible bus plugs are the single most common unit we pull off a busway run and the easiest to resell. A fused plug is a simple, durable device: an enclosure, a set of stabs, a fuse block and an operating handle with a mechanical interlock. Because there is so little inside to fail, a thirty year old plug in decent physical condition is still worth real money to a plant that needs a matching unit for a run nobody makes parts for anymore.

We buy them from 30 amp up through 800 amp, single and three phase, 240 volt and 600 volt. The frames that move fastest are the 100, 200, 400 and 600 amp three phase 600 volt units, because that is what the industrial retrofit market asks for week after week. Smaller 30 and 60 amp plugs sell in quantity rather than individually, so a pallet of them is a better conversation than a single unit.

Condition is judged on the handle, the interlock, the stabs and the cover, and that is genuinely all. If the handle throws, the interlock still engages, the stabs are not burned and the cover latches, you have a resale plug rather than a scrap enclosure. We make that call from your photos. Nothing needs to be energized, meggered or certified before we quote it.
