Send a nameplate photo and receive a firm number, usually the same day.

01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02We Do The Dismantling

Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.

03No Testing, Ever

You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.

Everything sellers ask

Straight answers

What kinds of bus plugs and busway do you buy?

Fusible bus plugs, circuit breaker plug-in units, plug-in busway, feeder bus duct, cable tap boxes, fusible switch plugs, combination starter plugs, transformer and lighting plugs, elbows, tees, end closures and the hangers they came off. Copper or aluminum bus, every manufacturer, every vintage.

Do you really do the dismantling yourselves?

Yes, and it is the main reason to call us rather than a broker. Our crew arrives with lifts and rigging, takes the run down, crates it on site and loads it onto our own truck. The labor, the equipment and the freight are our cost and are already reflected in the offer.

Do I have to test the equipment?

No. Never. No testing, no megger readings, no certification, and no statement from you about whether a unit works. We grade physical condition ourselves, from your photos first and in person at removal.

Who pays for freight and removal?

We do, and it is already in the number we quote. That includes the lift, the rigging, the removal labor, the crating, dock fees and the haul.

When do I get paid?

Before anything is unbolted and before the truck leaves your property. Not on arrival at our yard, not after we resell it, and never on consignment.

Is the offer really firm?

Yes. We do not re-trade agreed numbers when the crew shows up. The one exception is a lot that turns out to be materially different from what was described, such as a fraction of the units discussed or a different busway line entirely.

How is this different from taking it to a scrap yard?

A scrap yard pays for the copper and aluminum inside and treats everything else as a cost. We pay for what a plant still running your busway line will pay for a serviceable plug, which on a discontinued line is frequently several multiples of metal value. When a lot genuinely is only worth recovery value we say so and quote it that way.

What if the nameplates are missing?

Very common and not a problem. Case shape, latch style, handle design and the stab pattern on the back identify a busway line reliably. Send front, side and back photos and we will work it out.

Is old equipment worth anything?

Often more than new equipment, which surprises most sellers. When a busway line is discontinued, the plants still running it cannot buy new plugs at any price, so demand for used units hardens instead of decaying. Do not scrap old busway before asking.

Do you buy damaged or water-damaged units?

Yes, as recovery purchases priced on metal content, and we take them alongside the good units so you are not left with a disposal problem.

Do you buy the busway itself or only the plugs?

Both, and a complete run with its matching plugs is the strongest position a seller can be in because it can be re-installed as a system.

What is the minimum lot size?

A single pallet of plugs is worth a call. Below that the freight math gets thin and we will tell you honestly if a local yard serves you better.

How fast can you be on site?

Typically within one to two weeks of accepting, and faster when a demolition date or plant shutdown is driving the schedule. Tell us the deadline and we plan backwards from it.

Do you buy equipment that is still energised?

We quote it in place. De-energisation and lockout is arranged and verified before any tools come out, coordinated with your electrician or ours. Nothing comes down live.

Are you insured?

Yes, and we provide certificates of insurance to your facilities or safety group before mobilising. We also complete whatever contractor orientation or badging your site requires.

What paperwork do I get?

A bill of sale on every purchase, plus whatever your state requires for a metal transaction. If your company needs a specific release or asset-disposal form, send it and we will sign it.

Do you buy other electrical equipment at the same time?

Yes. Panelboards, switchboards, fusible switches, motor control centers, starters, transformers and breakers in the same transaction. One crew, one date, one payment.
