The part other buyers leave to you

Busway Dismantling Service

Most buyers quote a price and wait for you to deliver the equipment crated on a dock. That quietly moves the largest cost in the transaction onto your side. We bring the crew.

Our people take the run down, crate it and load it on our own truck. The lift, the rigging, the labor and the freight are on our ticket, and the money reaches you before anything is unbolted.

Send a wide shot of the run and one nameplate. We will tell you what it is worth and when we can be there.

Or call 954-740-1983. A couple of photos and a nameplate shot get you the fastest, firmest number — text or email them anytime. We never ask you to test or certify anything.

01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02We Do The Dismantling

Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.

03No Testing, Ever

You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.

How a teardown runs

Eight steps, and none of them cost you anything

  1. We walk the run

In person or from your photographs. We look at height, what sits underneath, how the duct is hung, both terminations, and the route out to where a truck can park. Those five things set the plan, the crew size and the schedule.

  2. You get one firm number

Usually the same day. It accounts for the removal cost, so what you see is what you net. We tell you plainly which equipment is resale-grade and which is recovery-grade rather than blending it into one vague figure.

  3. We pay you

Before anything is unbolted. Not on delivery to our yard, not on resale, not net thirty. You are never in the position of having released equipment and waiting on funds.

  4. Isolation and lockout

Verified before tools come out, with your electrician or ours. Site rules, PPE requirements, permits and escorts are all followed as your facility requires them.

  5. Plugs come off first

They are the highest-value items per pound and the easiest to damage, so each unit is handled individually and set down properly rather than stacked loose.

  6. Then the duct, in long sections

Off the hangers in the longest lengths the building will let us carry out, with the joint stacks and fittings kept attached. Length is worth real money, so the sequence protects it.

  7. Crated and loaded

Palletised or crated on site by our crew, wrapped, banded and loaded onto our own truck. You supply no forklift, no dock labor, no packaging and no carrier.

  8. We clean up and go

The hardware we removed leaves with us. What is left is a clear wall or ceiling and a paid invoice you did not have to fund.

Why the removal is the whole argument

Getting plug-in units off a busway run is not difficult work, but it is real work. The equipment is overhead, frequently above active production, it is heavy and awkward, and taking it down in re-usable condition requires a lift, qualified people and somebody who knows how the joint hardware comes apart. Priced as an electrical contractor job, it is often a five-figure line item on a large run.

A buyer who does not include that in their offer has not given you a better price than we have. They have given you a gross number and left you to discover the net. The comparison worth making is what lands in your account after everything is done, and that is the only number we quote.

What removal done for resale looks like

There is a real difference between demolition and dismantling. Demolition cuts duct into whatever lengths move easily, discards the joint stacks and hangers, and drops units into a container. That turns re-usable equipment into metal, and the loss lands on whoever owns the resale value.

Our crews sequence the work to preserve continuous duct lengths with hardware attached, and to handle plugs individually. It is slower and it is the reason we can pay resale value rather than recovery value.

What we need from you

  • Site access on the agreed date.
  • A point of contact who can make decisions.
  • Whatever contractor orientation or badging your facility requires.
  • The demolition or shutdown schedule, if one is driving the timing.
  • Somewhere a truck can reasonably park.

That is the complete list. No labor, no lifts, no crating, no sorting, no cleaning, no testing, no certification, and no statement from you about whether the equipment works.

Dismantling service questions

Straight answers

Do I pay anything for the dismantling?

No. The labor, the lifts, the rigging, the crating and the freight are all our cost, and they are already reflected in the offer we give you. Nothing comes out of your pocket at any stage.

Do you do the electrical isolation?

De-energisation and lockout is arranged and verified before any tools come out, coordinated with your electrician, your facilities group or ours depending on how your site handles contractor work. Nothing comes down live.

Are you insured, and can you provide certificates?

Yes. We provide certificates of insurance to your facilities or safety group before mobilising, and we complete whatever contractor orientation or badging your site requires.

Can you work nights, weekends or around a shutdown?

Yes, and it is common. Tell us your production constraints and the sequence gets built around them rather than the other way round.

What do you leave behind?

A clear area. Hangers and hardware we removed leave with us rather than becoming your disposal problem, and we clean up the areas we worked in.
