01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02We Do The Dismantling

Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.

03No Testing, Ever

You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.

What we do

We buy busway equipment from the people who end up owning it because a building changed: plant managers retiring a distribution system, demolition contractors clearing an electrical room, maintenance departments after a capital project, facility teams closing a site, and liquidators holding equipment they cannot identify. In almost every case there is a date attached and somebody needs it gone.

Our position in that transaction is simple. We pay you upfront, before anything is unbolted. We send our own crew to take it down. We do not ask you to test a unit, certify condition, sort a pile, or drag anything out to a dock. The lift, the rigging, the crating and the freight are our cost and our responsibility.

Why the dismantling matters

Because it is the largest cost in the transaction and it is the one most often hidden. A broker who quotes you a price for equipment delivered crated on a dock has given you a gross number, not a net one. Getting a busway run down safely and in re-usable condition means a lift, qualified people and sequencing, and priced as a contractor job on a large run it can be a five-figure line item.

Doing that work ourselves is also what protects the value. Demolition crews cut duct into convenient lengths and discard the joint hardware, which turns re-usable equipment into metal. Our crews sequence to preserve continuous runs, which is what lets us pay resale value rather than recovery value.

How we work

  • Our own money. No consignment, no brokering, no waiting on a resale.
  • Our own crew for the dismantling, rigging and crating.
  • Our own freight, staged regionally so distance is our problem rather than a deduction from your price.
  • Firm offers that are not re-traded when the crew arrives.
  • Payment before anything is unbolted, every time.
  • No testing, no certification and no sorting asked of the seller.
  • Honest classification between resale-grade and recovery-grade.
  • Proper documentation, including a bill of sale on every purchase.

Where we buy

All 50 states and the District of Columbia, covering 7,518 cities and towns. We stage crews and trucks regionally and dispatch against the schedule your site needs, which is why a removal at a rural mill is no more expensive to you than one in a major metro.

See our service area → or browse the full city directory.

What we are not

We are not a broker listing your equipment and taking a cut. We are not a marketplace. We are not a scrap yard with a website. We buy the equipment outright, take title, do the labor and carry the resale risk ourselves — which is the only structure under which a firm same-day number with the removal included is possible.
