The process
How Selling Bus Plugs Works
We cut it out, crate it and haul it away. You are paid before the truck leaves.
Six steps. Nothing comes out of your pocket at any point, and you are paid before a single bolt is turned.
- Paid before removal
- No testing required
- Dismantling and rigging on us
- Freight always covered

Send a nameplate photo and receive a firm number, usually the same day. There is no obligation.
Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.
You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.
Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.
1. Send photos
One or two nameplate shots and one wide shot of the run or the pile. Text them, email them, or use the form on this page. If every plate is gone, send the wide shots anyway — case shape, latch style and the stab pattern tell us a great deal.
2. We price it
Usually the same day. We price against real demand from plants still running your busway line, not against the metal inside. You get one number, and we tell you plainly which units are resale-grade and which are recovery-grade.
3. You accept, nothing changes
The number is firm. No consignment, no waiting to see what it sells for, no contingency on our resale.
4. We plan the removal
Ceiling height, what sits under the run, how the duct is hung, site access rules and the route out. Active plants, mezzanines, tight urban docks and hard demolition deadlines are all routine.
5. We pay you
Payment lands before anything is unbolted. You are never in the position of having released equipment and waiting on funds.
6. We dismantle, crate and haul
Our crew, our lifts, our rigging, our crating, our truck, our cost. Plugs come off first and individually; duct comes down in long sections. We clean up behind ourselves.

Questions sellers ask us
Straight answers
What do you need from me to make an offer?
A photo of a nameplate or two, and one wide shot showing the run or the pile so we can judge quantity. Anything else you know helps but is not required.
Is the offer firm, or does it change when the truck arrives?
Firm. We do not re-trade the price on arrival. The only thing that changes an agreed number is discovering the lot is materially different from what was represented — a quarter of the units, or a different busway line entirely.
When exactly do I get paid?
Before anything is unbolted and before the truck leaves your property.
Do I have to test anything?
No, and this is worth stating plainly because it is the question we are asked most. No testing, no megger readings, no certification, no statement from you about whether a unit works. We grade condition ourselves.
Do I have to sort or identify the units?
No. Mixed lots of fusible plugs, breaker units, tap boxes and switches are the normal case. Sorting and identification is our job.
What if I accept and then change my mind?
Tell us before the crew is dispatched and there is no issue and no cost to you.
