Russelectric Bus Plug Buyers
Russelectric gear shows up alongside busway in facilities with backup power systems. We buy it during the same dismantle rather than making you find a second buyer for it.

Send photos of the nameplates and receive a firm number, usually the same day. No obligation.
Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
Our own crew takes the run down. You are not sourcing riggers, renting lifts or chasing a carrier who has never handled busway before.
You are never asked to test, megger or certify anything. We grade from physical condition and the nameplate. That is the entire process.
Fusible plugs, breaker units, bus duct, tap boxes, panelboards and starters all on one job is the normal case rather than the exception.
Russelectric equipment by type
We pay upfront, require no testing, and cover the dismantling and the freight at our own cost — the same terms on every purchase regardless of whose nameplate is on the unit.
We buy Russelectric product across every category we handle. Pick the type that matches your equipment for ratings, condition notes and removal detail.
Fusible Bus Plugs
The bread and butter of the trade: fused plug-in units from 30 amp through 800 amp, handle and interlock intact.
Bus Duct & Busway Runs
Straight lengths, elbows, tees, end boxes and the whole overhead run, cut out and removed by our own crew.
Scrap Bus Duct & Plugs
Burned, crushed and water damaged material priced honestly on recovery value.
Surplus & Unused Plugs
New unused units from cancelled projects and overstocked storerooms, still in original packaging.
Feeder Busway
Solid feeder runs without plug openings, sold on conductor rating and length.
Tap Boxes & Fusible Switches
Cable tap boxes, fused switch units and transition boxes that terminate a run into conduit or gear.
What moves the number on Russelectric equipment
- Amp rating, and whether it is a common frame size.
- Whether the busway line is still in production or discontinued.
- Copper versus aluminum bus, which moves the metal floor.
- Whether the handle throws and the interlock still engages.
- Stab condition: clean, or burned and pitted.
- Indoor storage versus years of weather and standing water.

Selling Russelectric bus plugs and busway
Straight answers
Do you only buy Russelectric equipment?
No. We buy every manufacturer, and unlabeled equipment as well. The brand and the busway line affect the resale pool and therefore the price, but they never determine whether we are interested.
My Russelectric nameplate is missing. Is that a problem?
Not a serious one. Photograph the unit from the front and the side instead. Housing shape, latch style, stab configuration and handle design identify a line reliably, and we do this every week.
Is older Russelectric equipment worth anything?
Frequently more than newer equipment. When a line is discontinued the used market becomes the only source, and the plants still running it have no alternative. Age is not the deciding factor; condition and the size of the installed base are.
